Kripalu Mindfulness Outdoor Experience Guide & Life Coach – Get Outside. Go Within.

Fall in upstate New York

Autumn is a good time start reflecting on where you want to be next year. We all have areas of our life that are going well and we wouldn’t really want to change. Then there are those other areas that aren’t really working out as well as planned whether it be a dead end job, a relationship that is no longer working or a nonexistent, finances that aren’t quite what they should be . . . Those are the areas to take a look at. Think about what you really want in those areas. Sitting outside in nature if possible with a pen and paper helps you to really dig deep especially when there are no other distractions. Then write it down. As you sit outside in nature, really think about what you want, what would it feel like if you had exactly what you want. Once you can visualize what your life would look and feel like release it to the Universe knowing that what you want to see is on its way or something even better will manifest.

Once you are home, go one step further and prepare a vision board. Get yourself a cork board, poster board, magazines, scissors, or pictures from the internet. Or prepare a vision board on your laptop or desktop computer. If you prepare a power point vision board on your computer and add music and affirmations so you can play it whenever you want to be inspired. Remember there are no limits to what you can dream and manifest. We used to say the sky is the limit but now they have proven there is no limit to the sky as they keep discovering new galaxies.

  1. Nice thoughtful post Sandy! My name is Sandy too haha 🙂 it is truly important to take moments to think about how far you’ve come, where you are, and where do you want to go. We have one life and we should make it beautiful.
