My mother passed on March 27th 2011 and my daughter was inseminated on the same day. She wasn’t able to travel for the wake. We have planned on my visiting her in May that year to be present when they heard the heart beat. Instead we discovered that the fetus wasn’t alive. The following year at the end of March she was inseminated once again. We planned that I would travel in May to help her move into her new home. She had a miscarriage the week prior to my arrival. In April of 2013, after deciding to allow herself some downtime and change her focus from starting a family to focusing on relaxing and deciding on a new career she discovered she was pregnant. She had once again became pregnant in March but without trying. The reward was my healthy grandson. Although concerned that they lived on the other side of the country and I would never see him, you can see by the photos that the reward of his birth has been several trips both ways and he seems to enjoy his time with is Mimi. I feel much gratitude for his birth into our family and the blessing her brings to our lives.
