The Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge – ‘Close Up”

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Close Up.”

“If you will stay close to nature, to its simplicity, to the small things hardly noticeable, those things can unexpectedly become great and immeasurable.

~ Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

This is one of my favorite subject matter  – close up – especially when relating this topic to nature.

I love taking photos of flowers close up to allow viewers to see the depth of the plant. Also, my new love of rain drops – a close up look at the beauty of this magical event. Then I added in a photo of my son’s cat, Doc. When we take the time to really look closely at things in our environment, it allows us to slow down, breathe and enjoy the beauty around us.
