While traveling for work today I had the privilege of natural beauty all around me. It was breathtaking. Almost made me want to forget about my meeting and continue traveling.
Luckily I was out of the office before dark and took my time traveling home. Tip for the day, always have your camera on hand and ready to go. It is important to be able to drive and soak up the beauty of nature, to stop once in a while to stretch and capture the sights. When traveling remember to get out every hour or so and stretch, walk around a bit, drink plenty of water, and carry healthy snacks such as fruit and some nuts. Don’t forget to chat with the local store owners and have a cup of coffee or tea at a locally owned cafe. You would be surprised what you can learn by striking up a conversation.
So grateful to live in this beautiful state, to be able to own a car, have a great position where I travel and meet with interesting people, and check out interesting little local shops. Feeling very blessed.
Love and Light!

Oh Sandy, these pictures are goooorgeous!!!!!!! Especially the reflection ones. Although that first one made me want to jump in a canoe and the road one makes me think you would be such fun to travel with. Joy to you today.

Thank you Mary. I am hoping to get back out there for a walk tomorrow. Different area, closer to home but just as beautiful. It hasn’t been as cold as last year so the tree in my yard is slowly changing. Probably won’t be as vibrant this year but still pretty.

I remember being at Raquette Lake the end of September and freezing my butt off! Enjoy the nice weather!

It was in the 40s this morning but the sun warmed it up throughout the day. There was a bit of rain and then a fantastic rainbow. I could see it come up out of the Hudson River and bend out over the bridges into the Albany area. Due to driving my car and sitting in traffic on the bridge I didn’t get a clear shot but all of the colors were so vibrant it took my breath away. When the traffic started to move I was a little disappointed. Have a wonderful weekend!

And probably some of the people in traffic with you were really mad! Haha! We create our own reality. They probably didin’t even see the rainbow! Though probably some did, and you unknowingly shared that moment. Very cool.

I was very surprised when I noticed the woman behind me holding up her cell phone after I snapped a few. It was truly amazing. As you said others didn’t notice – just angry faces trying to get in and out when possible. It is true, we do create our own reality. Good thing we are choosing to see the beauty!!

She was taking a picture with her cell phone? Or texting? Yes, choosing beauty is the best! I love it!

She was taking a pic of the rainbow. I could tell because she was holding it up to her window. I had just done the same thing so it made me laugh.

Thank you for visiting. I realize that not everyone has the pleasure of witnessing the changing leaves so I wanted to share. This is the same for myself with other areas of the world. There is such beauty to be shared and this is the perfect place to bring us together. Have a wonderful day!
