WPC – Trio

This week’s challenge is trios. You can find trios in many of our daily activities. When picking strawberries, kayaking, walking my grandson, and while traveling. Each trio photo holds special memories of days spent in nature. Whether with others or on your own, find pleasure in your surroundings as you slow down and live in the moment.

The Stained glass windows are remnants from a time past. This building was an Episcopal Church prior to my birth, the location of my sister’s baptism. Currently this is the location of the local library where my niece is the librarian. A dream from her youth that has come to fruition. The Buddha and trio of candles are part of my alter and meditation area. Both places hold a special place in my heart.

  1. Great trios! Happy Thanksgiving, Sandy. Are you spending it with your wonderful family?

    • Thank you Mary! Happy Thanksgiving. I did spend the day with my family and was blessed with seeing my granddaughter and new grandson. How was your Thanksgiving? An extra thanksgiving – it was my birthday as well and my children surprised me with a gift certificate to Kripalu – Center for Yoga and Health. I will be going to a Mindfulness workshop presented by Dan Goleman. Feeing very grateful!!

      • Woooooow!!!! What an amazing gift!!! Happy Birthday!!! Isn’t that in Boulder? A Mindfulness workshop! What could be better? Yay!!
My Thanksgiving was good.Very nice meal with family in Albuquerque. Then everyone all full and tired from the l-tryptophan. Haha. Then a few of us went to a movie. Today we will drive home in the snow, freezing rain and wind.

      • Snow and freezing rain – not the best conditions for travel. I drove through the Rockies during an ice storm in 2007 – pretty scary. Safe travels. Kripalu is located in MA, only an hour away. There are walking trails in the old growth forest and a lake. When not in class I will be outside. If there is snow on the ground in January I’ll go snowshoeing. Have a wonderful, safe day!
