WPC – Optimistic

Although the snow is falling around the Capital District region, I am optimistic that we will have enough snow fall for snowshoeing before the end of winter.

While waiting for the snow I am participating in a new challenge here at my house. My son gave me a Kombucha kit for my birthday. I am very optimistic that the new batches of Kombucha will be just as delicious as the first and eventually there will be enough to share. I might just have to relocate to a home with a larger kitchen to accommodate the growing supply of bottles.

I am optimistic that life will continue as seeds float through the air planting themselves in their new locations where they will bloom once again in the spring. We will rejoice in the warmth of the spring sunlight as we walk amongst new growth and colorful flowers decorating the earth.

What are you optimistic about?

  2. I hope you get lots more snow! I have a Kombucha mama. Looks a bit different than yours. What do you feed her? Sometimes the batches are great, and sometimes too vinegarie. I like it when it is slightly carbonated…a little fizzy. Takes a bit of experimenting.
    I love your milkweed photos!

  3. I love snow but it no longer likes me back and so I am hiding in a sunnier, yet chilly, climate. The frost patterns on the shady side of the window were lovely this morning.

  4. It’s good to be optimistic and there are so many great posts as a result of this week’s challenge – yours included! My favourite pics were those of the seeds because there is lots of hope for future flowers. Thanks for sharing and here is my fun take on the challenge. Hope you enjoy and never ever give up being optimistic! https://galeweithers.wordpress.com/2016/01/24/optimism-is-the-faith-that-leads-to-achievement/
