WPC -Face

In a new post, show us a face — and feel free to share the story or the person behind it. We look forward to seeing your takes!

“I’m waiting, for what, my kind of people, what kind is that, I can tell my kind of people by their faces, by something in their faces.”  ~ Ayn Rand ~

While viewing photos I wondered if I should select a person’s face, animal face, painted face or faces hidden within other things. As with other week’s I couldn’t select just one.

“Our faces will become works of art that our grandchildren will treasure.” ~ Adriana Trigiani ~

Cassie, Mom and Allison

Faces spanning time.

In the first photo you can see the happiness in my 92 year old Mom’s face as she poses with my two daughters.

“For a moment at least, be a smile on someone else’s face.”  ~ Dejan Stojanovic ~

This was one of the last photos they had taken before her death. She was in pure joy when her grandchildren came to visit.

“The face is a picture of the mind with the eyes as its interpreter.” ~ Marcus Tullius Cicero ~

What did you think of my selection? Did you notice the face in the curtain and in the melting ice? I hadn’t noticed until after I viewed them on the computer. The beautiful deer were in the field and stood watching us for quite a while as if posing for these photos.

  2. Great selection of photos, Sandy. I love the picture of your mom with your 2 daughters. All look so happy.
I did see the face in the curtain. I also stopped counting faces in the melting ice at 10. They are all over the place, and faces within faces. I think I know the one you are talking about, the main biggest one. But there are many! It was fun looking for them. 🙂

    • Mary so glad you were able to spot the faces in the ice. It is always fun to notice them hidden in trees as well. My Mom was always all smiles when the girls were around. She adored them and they adored her. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!
