“Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” ~Chinese Proverb~
When I lit the tea light in my new candle holder the shining light radiated out casting the design into an otherwise dark room. It was quite beautiful!
“When you possess light within, you see it externally.” ~Anaïs Nin ~
I become awestruck by shining bits of nature whether light shining through ice, glistening dew on clover, or walking out the back door to find a mystifying spiders web.
I love when there is a shine on the floor, wall or furniture as I walk into a room. It stops me from hurry and allows me to take a breath and enjoy the moment. Morning sunshine, afternoon’s evaporating light. The first time I turned on the diffuser there was still sunlight in the room. After working in my office for a while I walked into the otherwise dark living room and noticed the shining stars decorating the wall. It was such a gift. When the tree is decorated and I sit alone enjoying its presence the colorful lights shining on the floor bring a special blanket of warmth to the room. My favorite part of the day is when walking into a room with furniture, rugs, book shelves decorated in shining light. It reminds me that the sun is always there even when you can’t see it, this brings comfort to my life.
