WPC – Relax

This week, share a photo that relaxes you.

“Learn to relax. Your body is precious, as it houses your mind and spirit. Inner peace begins with a relaxed body.”  ~ Norman Vincent Peale ~

The Pacific Coast at sunset is one of my favorite places to relax when visiting my daughter and her family in San Diego, CA.

When home in New York State, I find sitting in my kayak on a lake at sunset relaxing during the summer months.

During the winter months I relax along a trail in the woods while snow shoeing. Sometimes I’ll just stop along the trail and lay in the snow. It is so quiet and peaceful.

“I go to nature to be  soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.”  ~ John Burroughs ~

  3. Wow! I too love to lay down in the snow! Maybe this weekend is just the right time for the first snowshoe of the year!

  4. Sunsets do have a certain charm to them! I can stare at them for hours on end and lose all sense of time. I guess no two sunsets are the same, all the more enthralling to wait for what Nature has in stall for us next! 😍
