If you can put away a little each week you will be surprised how quickly it will add up. If you can put away the higher amounts of money, at least try to put away a little each week and see how much you can end the year with. Instead of that extra latte, fast food burger, cigarette, beer, soda . . . take that money and place it in an envelope. Its fun, helps you become disciplined and builds your little nest egg for a future day.

Wishing you the best in 2017.

  1. I think the other way around would be better as Christmas is in december. I would start with 52 this week. Anyway it is a good way of saving up.

    • There is another plan where you do start with the $52 and then go down from their. Either way would be beneficial:)

      • The trick is to put it away and forget about it during the week. Last year I had to dip in and never recovered the savings. The year before I told myself it wasn’t mine to dip into and was successful. Sometimes we have to trick our mind. Maybe have someone else hold on to it at their home and all you can do is give them money – they are not allowed to give it back until the end:) Have a beautiful day!
