WPC – Ooh, Shiny

This week’s challenge is sharing something shiny that catches your attention. For my second post this week, I will share a drop of sap hanging from a tree in my son’s yard.

As you can see it was very shiny and I loved the reflection of the tree and the garage in the distance captured within.

“Time-honored, beautiful, solemn and wise.
Noble, sacred and ancient
Trees reach the highest heavens and penetrate the deepest secrets of the earth.
Trees are the largest living beings on this planet.
Trees are in communion with the spiritual and the material.
Trees guard the forests and the sanctified places that must not be spoiled.
Trees watch over us and provide us with what we need to live on this planet.
Trees provide a focal point for meditation, enlightenment, guidance and inspiration.
Trees have a soul and a spirit.”

What about you: what is guaranteed to distract you? What is your “Ooh, shiny!”?

  3. This line sums up so well; “Trees reach the highest heavens and penetrate the deepest secrets of the earth…” Trees are such an integral part of our life and we live because of the tree, but we have taken it for granted. They are the biggest living structure and they live for hundreds of years and are witness to so many stories and they are storehouse of history only that they cannot speak and tell us what all happened around them and how the world has changed and how they stand strong and remain a mute witness to bad and good of life…
Indeed trees have spirit and soul, it is that we don’t know how to connect with them.
Thanks for a profound thoughts through the eyes of a tree.
