What does pedestrian mean to you? Perhaps this is a great chance to go out and practice some street photography. Maybe you’ll capture something truly “pedestrian” — something that could use a dose of inspiration. Regardless of how you interpret this challenge, I’m looking forward to seeing the results.
– … and she loved a little boy very, very much―even more than she loved herself.” ~ Shel Silverstein, The Giving Tree ~
While skimming through photos I found several of my daughter and grandson walking amongst pedestrians. Although with many they seem alone – one heart and soul – walking in loving connection.
“If a man has been his mother’s undisputed darling he retains throughout life the triumphant feeling, the confidence in success, which not seldom brings actual success along with it.” ~ Sigmund Freud ~
“Sons are the anchors of a mother’s life.” ~Sophocles ~
Re-experiencing life through new eyes – watching my daughter’s and their sons interactions brings me back in time to the joy in sharing time with my son as a little boy. We would sit together every night reading stories, sitting on the floor playing cars, walking along the sidewalk in front of our house. Wonderful memories of a special time.
“Be careful to leave your sons well-instructed rather than rich, for the hopes of the instructed are better than the wealth of the ignorant.” ~ Epictetus ~
