I’m looking forward to sharing my own experience and how Spirit of Dragonflies, LLC will help others through Life Coaching sessions, Mindfulness Outdoor Experiences, Therapeutic Touch sessions, and essential oils.

As most of you who follow me are aware, connecting with nature is a major part of my own life. Finding peace and joy in life through connecting to nature has been a help in times or stress throughout my life. This has been especially important during the pandemic to maintain a sense of peace and joy.

Many people are anxious, fearful, and unsure of what is happening and want to feel safe again. Mindfulness Outdoor Experiences have been very helpful to those who have joined in the experience. Everyone has shared how peaceful they felt as we left the forest, how they felt more connected to nature and had a new sense of inner peace.

For those interested in individual experiences we incorporate Life Coach with the Mindfulness Outdoor Experience. Each individual creates a list of steps to take to continue the focus on maintaining peace and joy in their daily life.

If you are free on Friday I would love if you take a few minutes to join us.

Inspired by Silence

How would you capture silence in a photograph? Is it a positive image like this one, showing a much-needed break? Or is it the opposite, revealing the lack of communication in a friendship or the dangers of not speaking out? Show us your interpretation in a new post.

Walking in the evening allows the walker at time of silence and peace. It is a time for contemplation, to see the world around you in a new light, to allow yourself to open up to new ideas.

Walking around Mirror Lake in Lake Placid, NY amidst the evening lights bring a sense of peace. The lights guide the walker along sidewalks to the hotels. Although I’d rather have the lake lit by moonlight and stars, the reflections are quite captivating. Even on a cold winters night it is quite a sight to see.

It would have been wonderful to have been in the same location the night of the blood moon. On the evening of the blood moon, I stood in the silence of the night in my yard, hand steady as I focused my camera, held my breath and click – the glowing red moon and stars were miraculously captured. The moon and I became as one for a few moments that evening.

dsc_0734

Silence can be found in so many places if you allow yourself time to enjoy the stillness. Alone at the edge of a lake on a rainy day, looking out to the clouds lingering over the mountains a sense of peace may embrace you. Contemplating life as you realize how small you are in the big scheme of things, you may realize we are all here for a moment in time. At that moment you may realize that you should be enjoying every moment – you should make your life worth having been lived.

dsc_0993-1

It is time to enjoy every moment before a permanent silence takes over. We all have choices so make the best choice and live your life to its fullest. The cemetery can be another place to contemplate life, enjoy nature and focus on living and the life you wish to live. What is it you would like to accomplish before your last breath is taken?

The time is now. What story will you write about your life?

IMG_5600

Start scripting your life story today. Don’t hold back. Live BIG and enjoy every minute. Take time to be silent and listen to your inner wisdom. It knows the truth and will guide you in those still moments in time. Then get out there is enjoy – dance, sing, take chances, try new things.

If you are ready but unsure what steps to take contact me and we can work together to script your story and help you take the steps leading to your greatness.

Love and Light!

Transformation – Life’s Lessons

This week, share a photo that embodies transformation. As always, I’m eager to see through your lens.

“Real transformation requires real honesty. If you want to move forward — get real with yourself.” ~ Bryant McGill ~

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

“Loss is nothing else but change, and change is nature’s delight.” — Marcus Aurelius

Everything in life is always in a stage of transformation. To understand our own part in transformation, we first have to clear away the fog to find the truth. Sometimes it’s easier to live behind the fogged window but eventually it will clear; then we can continue to hide or open our eyes to face our reality and make a decision on how to move forward. First look within before blaming life’s woes on others. Take action today to create the life you want. Are you blaming others for your life situation? If so, stop – see the part you play in the situation. I am guilty of this myself – it’s getting easier but there are still those times when I awaken to the fact that I’ve been living behind a window of fog. Once it is brought to my attention, I wipe it away to see my own part in creating the situation – whether considered a positive or negative they are all life lessons.

Today, on the day of my birth into this life, I make myself a promise to be more awake and aware, to face my life with honesty and truth – moving forward I will focus on creating a life where I take responsibility for my thoughts and actions.

“You’re always one decision away from a totally different life.” Mark Batterson

What decisions can you make today to create your ideal reality? Remember, we can’t change others but we can change the way we think about our situations. Sometimes it isn’t another causing our distress, it is the way we are thinking about it and our own reactions. If you want another to change, change your own thoughts and actions first – then see how everything shifts around you. Be the LIGHT not the darkness and others will follow.

Sending Love and Light to you all!

WPC – Wish

This week, show us a wish, and let your blog be the ema upon which you share it. As always, I can’t wait to see everyone’s contributions.

Sharing wishes with strangers makes a powerful emotional statement.

This is hung in my office and it is a message that is shared with my coaching clients. My wish is to guide others along their path to the life they have dreamed of living.

WPC: Quest – Search for Meaning

The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge. For this week’s challenge, show us what quest means to you.

“Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr. ~

dsc_0401

Which path to take?

Many times people follow along the path of their family, friends, community without questioning why or if what they believe is the truth for them. Never questioning the prejudices, beliefs, faith of those around them even when inside they know it doesn’t feel right. I think I’ve always been in search of the truth for me – always knowing there was something waiting for me.

Questioning others to see why they believe a certain way can cause friction and discontent if they don’t really know. We are set on a path in our early years and it can be uncomfortable to question, think and shift. Some of my best teachers have been those who stopped and questioned me, causing me to rethink why I held myself back. A special thank you John Gargiulo. John questioned me about what was holding me back, why I didn’t speak up and pursue my dreams. He sent me to several classes, held back a promotion – at times I resented him. John’s comments and actions would sometimes bring up anger within me but thankfully along I realized he was my teacher, the one who helped me grow and overcome some of my fears. He motivated me to continue my quest for knowledge. Forever grateful – may he rest in peace.

Another teacher in my quest, Wayne Morris, guided me through the end of my turbulent twenties and inspired me. He shared how his twenties were turbulent, thirties were better but his forties were the best. This gave me hope for my own future. It turns out he was right. During my thirties I graduated from college, joined the National Guard, and started a new career all while enjoying raising my three children. In my forties I purchased a home, sold the home, moved to California and then relocated back to New York, tried different careers while always moving forward. My children grew up and went out on their own during this same time period. My fifties have brought even more joy and adventures that I could have imagined. When you are open to learning and growing a world of possibilities opens before you.

dsc_0348

“I feel the older I get, the more I’m learning to handle life. Being on this quest for a long time, it’s all about finding yourself.” ~ Ringo Starr ~

I could not have said this better than Ringo. Every morning when we wake, we have a decision to make. Will this day be a good day or bad. In the past there were times in my life when all I could see were bad days. Through practice and a shift in thought, I have learned that I can set the stage. Beauty and life are all around us. We can choose to see this beauty or to ignore it. Thoughts are things – this is true. Whether I think life is great or I think it is cursed – I am right. What I think I attract, it has been a learning lesson.

dsc_0778

In my quest to change my mindset I have discovered shadows forming patterns on the wall are a present every morning. Finding the beauty in the light and shadows can appear like artwork. There for only a few minutes – every changing and then gone until the next day. A little like life. Hard times come and go. They remind us to enjoy the happy times and to focus more on those times so we can attract them into our lives.

Age does not stop one from thinking or questioning their truth. For some, the quest for their truth only increases with time. When one is no longer pursuing their dreams, what gives them their life energy?

Speaking with a man who found out he had stage four cancer was an eye-opening experience. He had no idea how ill he was three weeks ago. He wasn’t feeling well for a couple of days. A friend from another state was stopping by on his way through town and encouraged this man to go to the ER. That is where it was discovered he had stage four lung cancer.

“The eternal quest of the individual human being is to shatter his loneliness.”                                         ~ Norman Cousins ~

Norman Cousins was able to overcome stage four cancer and his doctor’s recommendation to go home and prepare for death. Loneliness is a state of mind and there is nothing external that can diminish that feeling. Some people feel lonely in a crowd of friends and family. Others feel at peace when alone. Loneliness is just a state of mind and can be healed with inner work.

If you are feeling lonely, get out in nature and discover the miracles of nature. Surround yourself with the beauty around you. Become creative – dance, sing, paint, draw, create jewelry, use nature as your inspiration. Nature provides a place to connect with Earth’s energy to revitalize you. Get out and meet people, talk to people and find beauty in everyone and everything. Look for the designs and flow of how everything is connected.

  • What is your quest?
  • Are you on the right path?
  • Do you have flow in your life and are you content with where you are heading?
  • If not, what steps can you starts to take today toward your life’s

Without a plan how will you move forward and how will you know if you know if you are heading in the right direction. Small steps lead to a great life especially when you have set specific goals to reach. We never stop our quest, we just improve it along the way. If you are uncertain of how to take steps necessary to meet your goals or start your quest, please contact me and we can prepare a plan together. Is Your Life Becoming a Blur?

Are you moving too fast to enjoy life? Are you missing out on the day-to-day beauty of the world around you? This photo is a visual of what many people see as they move through their daily lives.

Reflections of life on the lake

Reflections of life on the Mirror Lake

Nature is all around yet many don’t take the time to enjoy it or to even notice their connection to it. We see it in a flash as we travel in our cars, buses, trains, planes. I see people on bicycles or running and they don’t even notice the squirrels playing or dangling on branches above them. Our children are raised to see everything in a blur as they sit in the backseat, infants facing backwards looking at the seat instead of riding in a carriage learning about the world around them. Isn’t it time that we slow down, take a breath, and enjoy the gift of life. We wouldn’t have life if it weren’t for the gifts of nature.

My mission in life is to guide people to a life of mindful living and finding their true path. A path of creativity, joy, laughter and love. It isn’t possible to have a fulfilling life when everything is a blur. You may say, that’s great but I don’t have time to slow down. People who slow down get passed over for promotions, children are overlooked when parents slow down, I need to be in competition with others so high-speed is where I live. If you end up with ill-health then living high-speed have been worthless.

Think back to the times in your life, maybe when you were a child, when you truly enjoyed your life. Maybe you sat under a tree with a good book, played with your friends until dinner time, read to your own children before bed, enjoyed swinging or lying on the beach. Are you doing anything today that brings back that feeling of those carefree days? Yes, there are bills to pay, dinner to make, a job to go to, loved ones to care for, events to attend, children to drive from place to place, etc. What would you do if you knew five to fifteen minutes a day of finding peace can change your life? What if you knew that slowing down for this short period of time daily can improve your health, mental state, relationships? Did you know that meditation can change your brain and actually make you more productive? There are many studies that have proven this.

When I am visiting patients in the hospital who are suffering from an illness I wonder if this is their body forcing them to slow down and take a break. I don’t know about you but I certainly would rather take a few minutes a day to slow down rather than go full force until my body forces me to take a break.

You are the only person who can the trajectory of your life. If you make small daily changes a state of bliss and peace will follow.

Let’s look at some ways to slow your day down to allow yourself to breath and enjoy being alive.

  • When you wake in the morning stay in bed for five minutes and think about everything you are grateful for – being alive can be the first – feel the emotion of gratitude
  • Listen to happy music while getting ready for work instead of the news – allow the energy to flow
  • When preparing dinner notice to the textures and colors of the food – be grateful for nourishment
  • While sitting at your desk stop and close your eyes for a moment and slowly breath in and out three times – be in peace
  • While driving your car every time you stop at a red light focus on your breathing – say “I breath in, I breath out” – connect with your body
  • When stuck in traffic notice the shapes and sizes of the trees, clouds, and buildings – connect with the environment
  • Take at least five minutes to meditate every day – there are many meditations available on YouTube – allow your mind and body to connect in peace
  • If you have children, sit on the floor and let them tell you a story about their day – envelope yourself and children in love and happiness
  • Take a walk around your neighborhood and notice the color of the houses, the number of trees or wildlife, pay attention to the sounds and smells – honor your daily life
  • Eat breakfast and chew your food slowly paying attention to the smell, textures, tastes – be thankful for the blessing
  • Look in the mirror and tell yourself how wonderful you are, how fortunate you are to have another day of life – love your inner self
  • Look into the eyes of those you love and let them know how precious they are to you – sense the love
  • Create a vision board for yourself or with your family – choose pictures that excite you – allow the emotion of this vision to penetrate your cells
  • Journal three pages every morning – connect with the pen and paper – share your joy
  • Sit on a swing and lay back as you enjoy the ride – feel the freedom of movement
  • Color with pencils or crayons – there are many coloring books available for adults today – connect with your  inner child
  • Turn off the television – it is a time (life) waster – enjoy your own life not Hollywood’s projection of life
  • Play board games with your children – laugh and be silly
  • Set up a puzzle on a table to work on a little each day –  slow down

Those are just a few of the many activities you can engage in to slow down, breath, and enjoy life. If you can’t meditate then the other activities will allow you to slow down your thinking mind and allow time for quiet. When my mother was alive and still able to work on puzzles she would empty the box on the dining table. Whenever anyone stopped to visit they would sit at the table with her and work on the puzzle. Sometimes we would sit together without saying a word. Other times we would listen to stories of her past or discuss problems someone was facing, then sit quiet and think about possible solutions or just support them. It was a very peaceful activity and a wonderful time spent with loved ones.

When my children were little the weekdays were sometimes a blur but weekends were spent walking in nature or playing games. We enjoyed seeing deer wandering nearby, watching squirrels and chipmunks playing with birds, rolling down the grassy hills, playing tag, lying on the ground watching clouds. If my children were still young today, I would do more of the latter and less of the blur. My weekdays would have included more quiet enjoyment and less hurrying, stressful days. This is the life I now share with my grandchildren. We slow down, laugh and act silly together. Don’t wait until you have grandchildren to slow down – start today. Do this for yourself and others will enjoy the benefits of your loving, peaceful energy.

Life is meant to be enjoyed. Learn to slow down and enjoy the little things.

Blowing in the wind

Learning to live in the moment.

Hope you are enjoying your week! A little latte and writing material, all set for a nice break and some memories.

IMG_6417

My daughter texted tonight to share with her sister and I that the baby was in bed sleeping at 6:30 and she had her bath all ready. It would be the first since giving birth seven months ago. Just prior to getting settled into the tub she went in to check on him. I would have told her not to go in because he was sleeping. You probably guessed – he woke up.

This reminded me of when my own children were little. A bath was a luxury and a rare occasion back then. On my birthday, the two older kids would watch their little sister while I was treated to alone time in the bathroom with a candle and bubble bath while listening to Enya. Sometimes this luxury would last for ten minutes, other times less than five before the arguing began. I do remember one time it seemed so quiet that I got out to check on them only to find them all cuddled up watching a movie. I dried off and went out to watch with them. The truth was spending time with them was a luxury. Between the three part-time jobs, college, study and feeding them the moments of sitting on the couch, a walk in nature, eating dinner at the table were the best moments. One we sometimes takes those moments for granted while in the midst of trying to survive.

This leads me back to my latte and journal. A bath was a dream, not a reality during those times of single motherhood. Many days I think how nice it would be to return to those missed baths and arguing children but life moves on and children do as well. They have their own lives, just as it should be. Now I have luxurious baths, times to meditate, write, travel, explore new hobbies, nature, and meet new friends. There are adjustment periods – not just one moment – there are many over time.

When the holidays come and you find out everyone has somewhere else to be. Or when you want to get everyone together in one place after not seeing them for a couple of months and there are texts back and forth to make plans, you wonder – doesn’t anyone use the phone any longer. Then there are those times, like the death of my mother’s anniversary, when you wish your own mother was still here so you could stop by for a cup of tea. That is when you miss your own children the most.

For me this is one of the reasons meditation, practicing mindfulness, learning and sharing energy healing has become such an integral part of my life. My mother’s lifestyle is gone to the grave with her. That generation lived a totally different lifestyle than we do today. I wouldn’t be happy sitting home caring for all of my grandchildren every day. We all know that. Seeing them once in a while and talking on FaceTime make the moments we share even more important. When using FaceTime with my grandson in California I pull out toys to show him, sing songs, dance, show him the front porch and all the toys that await his next visit. Sometimes I’ll swing while talking to him and sit near a tree. It keeps his attention, he is two now, and I enjoy entertaining him.

Life is different, society has changed and it will never return to where it once was. Not better or worse – just different. So when we are together I soak them in – cuddle, hug, laugh, and do silly things. If we are together more than a week, I can tell they begin to feel an urge to return home. It isn’t that we don’t love each other, we just live in a different time and space. When they leave I pick up a book, meditate, go for a walk in nature, or create something. It is time to redefine myself once again and truthfully I am loving life. We had a wonderful time together throughout all the ups and downs we loved, laughed and learned about life. I am proud of my children and truthfully, I am proud of myself for raising independent, interesting, loving adults.

So, now I sip my coffee and write in my journal about where I will be next year and what my hopes and goals are for the future.

  • Live mindfully – in the moment
  • Network and manifest new life coaching clients.
  • receive my certificate for Therapeutic Touch (TT).
  • Manifest TT clients

  • Walk in nature three times per week – recording sounds of nature while in the woods
  • Learn how to cook a new recipe
  • Meet new friends
  • Pay off my car
  • Save $10,000

The list may look overwhelming however it energizes me to think of all the possibilities that can manifest in a month, six months, a year. Hey, one never knows what they are capable of until the take the first step. The first leads to the second and eventually you reach your goals. Remember I was that single mom, first child at 17, who spent ten years in the Army National Guard, raised three children, made minimum wage during most of their childhood, completed college and earned a Master’s Degree, now I earn more in an hour than what I earned in a day back then. I am grateful every day for all of the blessings that have been bestowed upon me in this life. Truthfully, I have no regrets. Life is a learning lesson and I have remained open to whatever lessons came along. There are plenty more ahead and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon.

If you are interested in setting goals and moving forward in your life, leave a comment below or email me at spiritofdragonflies@gmail.com. We can discuss your goals and my skills to see if we are a match. Remember, it is your story so write your list and take that first step.

WPC – Future

The past and the present might be open to interpretation, but are still constrained by the reality of what was and is. The future? It’s tremendously intangible, brimming with possibility.

This week, share an image that represents the potential of things to come.

DSC_0001

Finding my flock/tribe to fly with

At the beginning of every year I prepare a Vision Board. One or two on a paper boards and a couple (health, career, finance, adventure) on MindMovies. You can check out Natalie Ledwell’s MindMovies site by clicking on this link:

http://www.mindmovies.com

So many people in my community speak of retirement – can’t wait until they retire. Many are in the thirties and forties. This is sad because they have years ahead of them focusing on a day in the future that may never come, or if it does, they will miss the days and years of adventures in-between. Using a mindfulness approach to the future, I focus on this moment, this day, next month, six months, and a year with a long-term goal of what my accomplishments will be over a lifetime.

Below is a Vision Board created in 2013. It was after I left my husband and his house. I had a new career, new apartment, and was beginning anew. At the time I wanted to find a rental home and live in a place similar the memory of my deceased Aunt Betsy’s home which was filled with love items/memories and sunshine.

Vision Board from 2013

Vision Board from 2013

Within eight months I relocated to a rental home closer to work. The home filled quickly with loved items – not all of my liking but loved by someone in the past. This happens when you try to become a minimalist – friends and family think you are lacking and share items with you. Out of love of course. When my niece came to visit she walked around the house and said “You have created your Vision Board.” Not the exact items but the energy of the board. Amazingly many of the physical realities of this home were included in my MindMovie. The house, although mine is brick-red, it is exactly like the yellow house in my movie. With the front yard, trees, garage, and swing.

This year, my current Vision Board was no longer serving me or representing the direction I want my life to flow. It was an AHA moment. My view of the future has changed – not just a little but quite a bit over the last three years. The colors that have followed me for over a decade no longer suit me, neither do the clothing style or material possessions. While reviewing some of the magazine pictures that were cut in January, it surprised me that I no longer had any feeling toward the houses, clothing, colors – mainly reds and golds. It looked like a lot of clutter. I am now drawn to sky blue, turquoise, jade, mint green, white with pops of yellow and red, although the colors of autumn do still hold a special place in my heart. A minimalist lifestyle spent in nature whenever possible is where I find myself today and in the future.

Female friends are taking on a new role in my life – finding my tribe of women to fly with is a priority. I am not sure if this is a part of the whole aging process or not, I yearn for that connection and closeness to female friends similar to my youth. I remember sitting on my friend’s front porch talking about our future and how we would still be friends in our ‘old’ age. We lost touch over three decades ago. Creating the vision board has brought me to this place – not a place of sadness but a place of knowing. Knowing exactly what and where I am heading to a life filled with love, friendship, camaraderie, laughter, creativity, and nature.

It may be that as I journeyed into my fifties there was a shift as most people share however my view on life and what is important has completely shifted. It might be a return to the adult me I visualized myself being in my teens. Sometimes I find myself in turmoil between holding on to where I have been, my idea of what this stage of my life should look like, and the direction that my new self wants to venture. Material possession have less hold over me. When I think of the home I want to live in or the car I want to drive – the actual material objects disappear. What has replaced this is a feeling/energy of what I want a home, car and other possessions to provide. When with family, friends, co-workers, interacting with people in general I want to be able to remain at peace, filled with love and compassion. My home is my sanctuary, a peaceful place to return to reenergize.

Many of my past vision boards have come to fruition and this surprises some, not me. I know what we think about and place our energy on comes to fruition. We are manifestors of our realities. As we think about our futures, we should pay more attention to our words and actions. Even if we think we don’t have everything available to us now, paying attention to our feelings about this moment will change our reality of how we think about life. By researching, networking, stepping out of our comfort zone we expand our realities and gain a better understanding of how far we can reach. Regular meditation, life coaching sessions, energy healing, and self-assessing have changed my life and preparing a Vision Board provides visual direction.

Finding Your Still Point

DSC_0145

In flight yet the dragonfly appears to be still as the environment gives one the illusion of motion. We can live choosing thoughts that manifest the life we want to live or that of which we do not. If your life is spinning out of control you have lost your still point. It doesn’t matter if you believe in the Law of Attraction or not, like the Law of Gravity whether we believe or not it’s true. Finding the still point within releases the illusion, allows you to manifest your dreams, and sets you free.

When looking at the photo, I think of how people are constantly in motion without realizing that they are missing this inner peace. Many people are searching through drugs, alcohol, shopping, eating for that something they can’t seem to name. That something is inner peace – your still point.

To live in a state of motion while remaining still within, that is the secret to living on purpose.

  • What if, you were able to learn how to remain still no matter what is happening in the environment.
  • What if, you were able to release the meaningless motion and minutia from your life
    • Does your past story really matter today?
    • Does it matter to the person you are striving to become?
  • What if,  you were able to take a little time out of your day for meditation allowing yourself a gift of inner peace and quiet.

There is a peaceful still point within all of us. If you can find that spot, then like the dragonfly captured in the still point while in flight, you will be able to remain in a peaceful state while life happens.

Practicing stillness allows you to remain peaceful while in traffic jams, during meetings at work, during job interviews, while facing the death of loved ones, throughout the aging process, and eventually while actively dying. When visiting patients in what is called the ‘actively’ dying phase, we have found that bringing a stillness to their body brings them peace. Their anxiety softens the creases and strain on their faces. Their hands lie softly at their sides or in their laps and they sleep more soundly. Recently we have also discovered that Alzheimer patients are responding to Therapeutic Touch (TT) and meditation. Families, nurses and physicians are noticing personality changes in their Alzheimer patients and the patients, themselves, are asking for TT therapy. If meditation and TT can bring this peace to them, just  imagine what it can do for you.

Everyone and everything has a time limit. During the in-between lies a peaceful place within – your still point – which can only be found by slowing down, changing your mindset, releasing past worries, concerns, nostalgia, and finding your inner peace somewhere in-between here and there.

If you are ready to slow down, practice mediation and/or receive TT treatment please contact me for a free 30 minutes consultation. I would love to guide you to that special place within that only you can find with a little guidance. If interested please leave a message below or email me at:

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Symbol.”

Dragonflies are my favorite symbol – transformation – breaking down self-created illusions, opening creativity and wonder, living in the moment and learning to live mindfully.

A few years ago while walking in the Saratoga Battlefield with my sister and brother-in-law I said, half-kiddingly, the dragonflies follow me along my walk. My brother-in-law didn’t believe me until halfway through the walk he realized there were dozens of dragonflies flying back and forth across the road in front and behind us. It was true. They had been following along the roadway. This also occurs while we are kayaking. It is a special treat when they land on my shoulder, front of the kayak or a friend’s hand. We have had them ride along for quite a long time without any movement.

The other day while I was sitting in the parking lot at work, several came to visit. I felt blessed as they flew back and forth in front of my windshield reminding to speak my truth and all would be fine. It was. I think dragonflies may love me as much as I love them, if that is possible. Every time I spot one I stop, take a deep breath and enjoy the moment. When several greet me I think it might be sign from the other side sending love and light. Some people believe dragonflies are a connection to the other side – I am not sure myself but I like to think this is true.

Dragonflies are mysterious and magical. They guide you as they move in all directions, providing you with inspiration to open your create side and release whatever holds you back. Set yourself free and live the life you were meant to live. Be free and skillful as the elegant dragonfly.
